Fushun Lei Feng Memorial Hall is the largest Lei Feng-themed memorial in China and serves as a significant patriotic education base. The memorial hall, first established in 1964, has undergone several expansions and now covers an area of 97,000 square meters with a building area of 21,000 square meters. It comprehensively exhibits Lei Feng’s life story, spiritual qualities, and contemporary values, making it an essential place to understand the spirit of Lei Feng.

The main building of the memorial adopts a design style that combines modern and traditional elements. It is divided into several exhibition areas, including the preface hall, themed exhibition hall, Lei Feng’s life hall, and spiritual inheritance hall. The memorial collects over 3,000 precious cultural relics used by Lei Feng during his lifetime, such as diaries, photographs, and other items, including more than 50 first-level cultural relics. Through physical displays, scene reconstructions, multimedia interactions, and other forms, it vividly reproduces Lei Feng’s ordinary yet extraordinary life.

The memorial also features functional areas such as the Lei Feng deed lecture hall and the Lei Feng spirit research center, regularly hosting various thematic educational activities. With over 1 million visitors annually, it has become a nationally significant red tourism destination and patriotic education base. In 2018, the memorial was named the “National Patriotic Education Demonstration Base” by the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee.
