Spot Introduction

Dalian Discoveryland is the largest theme park in Northeast China, invested and constructed by Dalian Haichang Group, covering an area of 470,000 square meters. With the themes of “discovery, exploration, and adventure,” the park integrates cultural elements from around the world, creating unique themed areas.

The park officially opened on July 16, 2006, planned and designed by the American RVJA company, drawing on the successful experience of Disneyland. The park is divided into six themed areas: Discovery Plaza, Legend Castle, Magic Forest, Metal Factory, Mystic Desert, and Crazy Town. Each area features a unique architectural style and themed attractions.

Discoveryland boasts over 40 world-class attractions, including the first suspended roller coaster in Asia, “Crazy Cobra,” which can reach speeds up to 90 kilometers per hour. Additionally, there is the first domestic 4D roller coaster, “Flying Dragon in the Sky,” which combines 3D visual effects and dynamic seats for an immersive experience. Furthermore, the park offers classic attractions like “Thunder Chariot,” “Pirate Ship,” and “White Water Rafting” to cater to visitors of all ages.

Apart from thrilling rides, Discoveryland is also renowned for its spectacular performances. There are over 20 themed shows daily, including large-scale live performances such as “Pirates of the Caribbean,” 4D movies like “Dinosaur Crisis,” and magic shows titled “Magical Enchantment.” Specially, the nightly grand float parade and fireworks display transform the entire park into a fantastical fairy tale world.
